After Donna Haraway

I am rarely asked to name myself.

Zorb balls bumping into one another,
a different kind of social distancing.

An object, scientifically and emotionally,
when he sees me, I am a lamp.

Oppression naturalized as nostalgia.

Veronica Good is a poet and fiction writer. Her work has appeared in Archarios, Tempo, and Scapegoat Review. When she isn’t writing, she is taking care of her plants and her Burmese python Fitz.
