Her apartment was in bad shape because it was made in the 80’s No, this isn't her fault.
Besides, she’s got hardwood floors
A clawfoot tub
And a ringing metal furnace
What do you do?
Me? Well, I do nothing. I wrote poetry once but not anymore You should write again
But I don’t have any words in my head
No bloody knife –
Antiseptic, maybe,
And a bit of gauze.
Would you bandage me up if I let you?
Would you make me better if I asked?
Do you lick me like your cats for this very reason?
